Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani to come together for Mohit Suri's revenge thriller
Aditya Roy Kapur has completed the last schedule of his multi-starrer period drama Kalank and looks like he already has his next film to start. If rumors are to be true, the actor will be seen sharing the screen space with Baaghi 2 actress Disha Patani in filmmaker Mohit Suri’s upcoming revenge thriller drama. Aditya Roy Kapur and Mohit Suri last came together for 2013 blockbuster Aashiqui 2 and now this will be the second time. Reports of the two falling apart surfaced the internet a while back but looks like all is well between them.
Going by the reports in Bollywood Hungana, a source revealed, “Mohit Suri was keen on reuniting with Aditya Roy Kapur and thought that this would be a good script. He has also got Disha Patani on board. He seems to be quite impressed with the actress’ work and thinks that this would be a fresh pairing onscreen. It is said to be a revenge thriller that will be extensively shot against the backdrop of Goa.”
The film is said to be a romantic action thriller and will see a love triangle. Reports also suggests that Mohit Suri has roped in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame Sunny Singh as the send lead. Also, a source associated with the project told Mumbai Mirror, “A huge set is also being put up in Mumbai, the film goes on floors in the next couple of months.”
If everything goes as planned, Mohit Suri will announce the film soon and the shooting will start in the next few months. Other than Mohit Suri’s film, Aditya Roy Kapur will also start shooting for Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 soon alongside Alia Bhatt. Also, Sanjay Dutt will be playing the lead role in the film once again and he will be playing his own age in the film. While talking about the film to Times Now, Sanjay Dutt revealed, "Sadak 2 is a very emotional film. It starts with Ravi [Sanjay Dutt's character]. It's many many years later after Sadak, it's a journey with this young girl who is Alia [Bhatt] and how she becomes a very important factor in his life to stay alive. It's a very crazy character."
