Abhishek Bachchan rejects Simmba?

Abhishek Bachchan is back into the action. Junior Bachchan is making his comeback with Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyan, co-starring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. In pictures that were shared by makers, Abhishek can be seen wearing turban for the film and his look went instantly viral on social media. Now another buzz is that Abhishek was approached to play a villain in Simmba.

Hold your horses! Before you jump to any conclusion, let us tell you that he has reportedly refused the offer. Rohit Shetty offered the role of antagonist to Abhishek, who is his good friend but surprisingly the actor didn't show interest. Not just Rohit, even co-producer Karan Johar was also astonished at Abhishek's decision. Rohit and Junior Bachchan have earlier worked in 2012 comedy flick Bol Bachchan.

We don't know what was the reason behind this refusal. Was it dates or something else? But we know that apart from Manmarziyan, Abhishek will join Sajid Khan's Housefull 4. However, now there are reports saying that R Madhavan has been offered the role and he will soon join the Simmba team.

Meanwhile, Simmba is a cop-drama adapted from the Telegu hit Temper. It stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan as a lead pair and is slated to release on December 28, 2018. Ranveer will be essaying the role of a notorious policeman named Sangram Bhalerao in the film.
