Abhishek Bachchan shares a throwback picture on sister Shweta Bachchan's birthday
Abhishek Bachchan is a complete family man. He never misses out an opportunity to make his near and dear ones feel special. We all know that Abhishek shares a close bond with sister Shweta Bachchan and that they have been with each other through thick and thin. So, as Shweta turns a year older today, the actor took to Instagram to wish his Shwetdi on her birthday. Sharing a throwback picture of himself along with Shweta, he wrote, ''Happy birthday to the big sis!! Thankfully, my hand-mouth coordination has improved since then!!! Have a wonderful day and an ever better year, Shwetdi. Love you''.
In the monochrome picture, the siblings can be seen enjoying ice-cream. As soon as the actor shared the picture, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone commented on the post. ''oh my god! its my most favourite persons birthday!!!,'' wrote Deepika followed by kiss emojis, while Katrina commented, ''Happy birthday! @shwetabachchan'' along with heart emojis, ''ur the best'' she further wrote. On the professional front, Abhishek Bachchan made a comeback with Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan last year. The film received good reviews but couldn't turn out to be a money-churner. The actor will next be seen in Anurag Basu's film, which is somewhere inspired by his own directorial Life In A... Metro.
There are also reports suggesting that Abhishek will step into the shoes of famous Bollywood lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi for a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play the role of the celebrated Punjabi poetess Amrita Pritam in it. The film is said to be on Sahir-Amrita’s love story. However, nothing is confirmed yet.
Recently, in an interview, when Aishwarya was asked about her next film, she said, "Normally when it comes to announcing my future projects, I leave it to the prerogative of my directors and producers. I have just very recently okayed a wonderful script and idea and character. So, I’ll let them make the announcement. And that is to start much later this year''.
