Aamir Khan digs the ground with wife Kiran Rao and does Shramdaan: Aamir Khan was spotted digging the ground to pay his tribute to the great labours of the Nation. He took to his social media handle and shared a few clips and pictures from the location. Aamir Khan indulged in a voluntary contribution of labour in the state's Koregaon Taluka of Satara district, along with his wife Kiran Rao.
They were accompanied by Jalamitras who came forward to help Aamir and his non-profitable organisation, Paani Foundation. Recently, Kangana Ranaut denoted Rs. 1 lakh to Paani Foundation in order to reduce the plight of farmers.
Aamir Khan received a warm welcome and headed to a location where he started digging the ground for 'shramdaan'. He was supported by the villagers. Aamir Khan's act served as an inspiration for the villagers. They joined him in the activity, according to a statement on his behalf.
On Tuesday, the actor was at Zhawadarjun village where he stopped by for sugarcane juice on the way along with wife Kiran Rao.
Aamir Khan was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan. He will be next seen in "Lal Singh Chadda", a remake of Forrest Gump.
