Ranveer Singh buys cricket bat signed by icons Sachin Tendulkar, Wasim Akram, Vivian Richards
Ranveer Singh, whose world is revolving around cricket these days, is all set to mesmerize his fans once again as he steps into the shoes of Kapil Dev for his next film 83. The actor has been training hard for the past few months to ace the game of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev for his biopic directed by Kabir Khan. From Sunday, the actor has been on a spree to share pictures with iconic cricketers on his Instagram and now the latest reports suggest that he has even bought a bat signed by them. It is said that Ranveer Singh has made the highest bid and bought a bat signed by Sachin Tendulkar, Sir Vivian Richards and Wasim Akram.
Going by the reports in TOI, Ranveer Singh has purchased a bat signed by cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar, Wasim Akram and Vivian Richards for a whopping 2,000 pounds. Converting it into Indian rupees, the bat would cost for approximately Rs 1.75 lakh. The report suggests that the actor made the highest bid and 2,000 pounds making sure that he wins the autographed bat at the auction. Looks like Ranveer Singh has become a hard-core cricket fan.
On Sunday night, the actor took to his Instagram to share pictures with the icons from the word of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, Shane Warne and Sunil Gavaskar. The actor first shared a picture with Sunil Gavaskar and wrote, “THE LITTLE MASTER!”, then he shares a photo with Australian commentator and former cricketer Shane Warne and wrote, ‘SPIN KING ! #Warnie @shanewarne23’. On the related note, Ranveer Singh will be seen recreating the 1983 World Cup win in his next film 83. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Saqib Saleem, R Badree, Harrdy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Pankaj Tripathi, Ammy Virk and Saahil Khattar in quintessential roles. The entire star cast of the film is in London these days where they have begun the shoot of the film.
