Former Miss India and actress Yukta Mookhey who had lodged a a complaint of dowry harassment and torture against her husband has got a blow, as Mumbai's session court defered Prince Tuli's case till August 20.
According to reports, Prince's case will be heard on August 20, till then the court has ordered Prince to appear in Amboli police station everyday starting July 29, 2013. He also won't be able to leave the country, till the final judgement. The decision on Prince Tuli's ineterm bail will be taken on August 20.
Former Miss India and actress had lodged a complaint on July 6 of dowry harassment and torture at Amboli police station in Mumbai against her husband and in-laws.
Yukta had also lodged a complaint of unnatural sex against her husband Prince Tuli. In her complaint, the former beauty queen alleged that her husband used to beat her up frequently and harass her constantly over dowry.
Yukta had married Prince Tuli in 2008, and her husband's family has a transport and hospitality business in Nagpur. For the last one year, she had been staying with her parents and a three-year-old son.
Yukta Mookhey was crowned Miss World in 1999 in London. She is also an active member of BJP. In 2000, she handed over the Miss World crown to Priyanka Chopra.
