Mumbai: He was known as the 'King of Romance' and on Yash Chopra's second death anniversary Tuesday, his son Uday Chopra said the filmmaker had a passion for life that was unequalled.
“Remembering my father today (Tuesday) on his death anniversary - he had a passion for life that was unequaled #LoveYouDad,” the “Dhoom” star tweeted.
Yash Chopra helmed romantic films like "Daag", "Kabhi Kabhie", "Silsila", "Chandni", "Dil Toh Pagal Hai" and "Lamhe".
Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who has sung in several Yash Raj Films' movies like “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” and “Veer-Zaara”, also paid tribute to the filmmaker on Twitter.
She posted: “Aaj Yash Chopra Ji ki Punyatithi hai. hum sab ko unki kami mehesoos ho rahi hai. Meri unko bhavpurna Shraddhanjali” (Today is Yash Chopraji's death anniversary and we all miss him. My heartfelt tributes to him.).
He was 80 when he died of multi-organ failure after suffering from dengue.
