Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is tired of the media giving "national importance" to his differences with Shah Rukh Khan.

"We do not talk to each other but why make a national issue out of it", asked Salman.

"We are not like India and Pakistan that the issue is given so much importance and priority. There are other things and issues to focus on as well," Khan told PTI.

Salman said he is tired of answering media questions about his fight with Shah Rukh at Katrina Kaif's birthday party last year.

Talking about relationships, Salman said, "friendship is a beautiful relation and a friend is one such person who will come to rescue you everytime (you are in trouble)."

Describing childhood friends as the real ones, Salman said friends made after entering a profession are only professional friends.

Critics may have panned his newly released film, 'Main Aurr Mrs Khanna' Salman claims that it has got a good response.

The film, starring Salman and Kareena, is a home production of brother-actor Sohail Khan and is written and directed by debutant Prem Soni.

Salman said, "I want that when people come out of the theatre they must take or learn something from the movie be it the values, behaviour, the good things of the character, good lines, gestures etc. The movie must have an impact on the life of the people."

The actor, who is riding high with the success of his action thriller 'Wanted', will next be seen in 'London Dreams' and 'Veer' and ‘Dabang'. PTI
