New Delhi: Vishal Bhardwaj, ace director of Bollywood has always been fascinated and inspired by Shakespeare's creations.

He has beautifully adapted the three of his plays into films. Good books, bestsellers have always been the source for film scripts. Vishal's Maqbool was an adaptation of Macbeth, Omkara of Othello and Shakespeare's toughest play, Hamlet, is being adapted into Haider.

Now, in a role reversal, we have heard that Vishal's three film scripts adapted from Shakespeare are going to be published as books themselves.

The scripts of critically acclaimed filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's ‘Maqbool', ‘Omkara' and ‘Haider' will now be turned into books. Harper Collins will publish the scripts of the trilogy, said a statement.

Indeed a great achievement for Vishal who is one of the biggest fan and follower of Shakespeare.

Vishal Bhardwaj upcoming movie is Haider. Set in the backdrop of Kashmir, the film speaks about revenge, thrill, romance and thorough performance oriented characters.

The USP of the film seems Shahid Kapoor with all his dark side carving a definite interesting character as Haider. Shahid Kapoor will be seen in totally different avatar in the movie.

Shedding his trademark chocolate-boy image, actor Shahid Kapoor will be sporting a dense beard and short trimmed hair. The movie is based on past and present Kashmir.

Shahid has turned producer with this project as he is sharing equal stake (33.33%) with UTV and Vishal.

Haider is all set to release with Hrihtik-Katrina Starrer 'Bang Bang' on October 2.
