Mumbai: Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has forbidden Vidya Balan's favourite fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee from working on Vidya's UTV film Ghanchakkar.
Bhansali has asked Mukherjee to focus on Priyanka Chopra's looks in Ram Leela, a Romeo-Juliet romance film, when the schedule for Ghanchakkar shifted from September to August and the dates clashed.
Though there was no such stipulation in the agreement for Sabyasachi working on any other project simultaneously, the spat turned ugly between the director and the fashion designer, says a media report.
UTV producer has now opted for another Kolkata dress designer Subarna Roychoudhury to work on Vidya's dresses in Ghanchakkar. Subarna had worked on Vidya's dresses for the films Eklavya and Parineeta.
For Ram Leela, Priyanka Chopra will soon be joining Ranveer Singh in Gujarat where the latter is attending a workshop for Bhansali's film.
