Ninty-two-year-old Pran, full name Pran Nath Sikand, ruled the Bollywood screen as villain for at least four decades.
He appeared in over 350 films and in 2010 he was named on the list of CNN's Top 25 Asian actors of all time.
Pran gave his best performances in Victorina No.203, Zanjeer, Purab aur Paschim, Upkar, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai, Don, Bobby, Maan Gaye Ustaad and Duniya.
