Mumbai, Jan 30: Actress Udita Goswami who debuted opposite John Abraham in Pooja Bhatt's “Paap” tied the knot with Filmmaker Mohit Suri on Tuesday evening at Hare Rama Hare Krishna temple in a traditional Punjabi wedding attended by family and a few close friends from the film fraternity.
The bride walked in a very traditional attire wearing a red lehenga choli with detailed embroidery all over while Suri walked in wearing a red stylish sherwani.
The occasion turned out to be a very private affair with close family members and a few friends.
Bollywood celebrities like Dia Mirza, Kangana Ranaut, Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Anurag Basu, Jacquline Fernandis, Vikram Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor were present to bless the newly-weds.
The mehendi ceremony took place on Monday evening which was also a formal one, while the wedding reception will be held at Mahalaxmi Race Course on January 31 and is supposed to be star-studded celebration.
From bride's side, a few close friends and family will be dancing, while from Mohit's side, his family, and his industry friends will be performing.
Udita and Mohit started dating each other during the making of Zeher and have been together since then.
This is the first star wedding of the year.
