It all began when their holiday snaps, in which shirtless Uday and bikini clad Nargis were spotted hanging out at a Maldives beach, flooded in media.
The gossipmongers were all abuzz with this new couple in the making and speculations were rife the two might mingle since Nargis was in talking terms with Uday's new ‘bhabhi' Rani Mukerji. She was also among the attendees at Rani's wedding in Italy.
Frequent questions were popped up at numerous events but Uday dodged them up maintaining the same old saying that ‘we are just friends'.
Later he also mocked his relationship with her on the social media platform by tweeting a pic having him posing with a mug which had Fakhri's pic printed on it. "Who is this @NargisFakhri that everyone keeps linking me with... I've never heard of her”, he tweeted.
Uday and Nargis were also spotted together at a special screening of Varun Dhawan's “Main Tera Hero”.
