New Delhi, Feb 13: It is not an ordinary but an extra ordinary love story of the most beautiful woman Aishwarya and the son of Big B Abhishek Bachchan which had all the ingredients of a perfect masala flick. It was in 2002 at Big B's Birthday bash that Abhishek's engagement was announced with his “Haan maine bhi pyar kiya hai” co-star Karishma Kapoor. This news rather came as a big surprise to the admirers but they were even more surprised when the two families- the Kapoors and Bachchans, caused distress in their relationship and the two broke-off. Some says that it was Karishma's mom Babita who was unsure of Abhishek's acting career. Karishma married the Delhi-based businessmen in 2003 and Abhishek moved on with it and focused on his work in movies.The other girl entered his life was model-actress Dipannita Sharma. Known for some bizzare flicks like Asambhav, Koi Aap Sa and My brother Nikhil, Sharma was introduced to Abhishek by her close friend Sonali Bendre.The two spent pleasant time together but Abhi was more attracted towards Aishwariya Rai. Here it was when Jr. B tried to ignore Sharma for Aish. Finally on his B'day, Dipannita planned out a bash for Bachchan but he turned down the idea citing Pa's ill-health reason. Infact, it was just the reason to keep her unknown about his big plans. Bachchan later in the night threw a big party inviting numerous guests including the most awaited Aishwarya Rai. Finally, after knowing this Sharma parted her ways while her friends called it a coward attempt by Abhishek as he didn't have the courage to convey his feelings to Dipannita.In the meantime, Aishwarya and Abhishek signed and starred in a string of movies together. They signed Umrao Jaan, Dhoom 2 and Mani Ratnam's Guru. So while these two weren't shy on sharing the screen it was during the making of Guru in June 2006 that Ash and Abhi became less cautious about being seen together at public places.Ash fit into the Bachchan family quite seamlessly attending dinners and visiting temples with them. That same year Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya after the premiere of Guru in Toronto and the actress accepted his proposal without a second thought. After flying back to Mumbai, the couple got engaged on Sunday, January 14, at the Bachchans' residence. Only close friends and relatives from both the families were present at the engagement ceremony.From then, the guessing game began with everyone waiting for the Big Day and speculation of when and where the impending wedding would take place.Finally on the day of private wedding affair another problem aroused. A girl called Jhanvi claimed that Abhishek Bachchan was her boyfriend. The entire controversy was created by her and she even tried to commit suicide infront of Amitabh's house ‘Preeteksha'. Reportedly, she claimed that Abhishek had an affair with her after his movie‘Dus' where she was a background dancer. She even added that the result of their love was a ‘child.' Eventually, it came out that she was a fraud trapping stars for money.Amidst all controversies Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwariya Rai Bhachchan renowned as Abhi-ash, are now a happy couple with Baby B to make their family complete.
