New Delhi: Twinkle Khanna has ardently and quite creatively come in the defense of AIB Roast controversy.
The actress who has evidently got a smart mouth seems to be proving once again how much sharp and logically correct she can go with her words.
In her exclusive write up to a leading daily, Twinkle has focused on “We have changed to a country that has decided to be offended by arbitrary things.”
While the lady wrote her views out without any fear, her questions appeared quite relative and rational in the light of AIB controversy that surrpunds Bollywood heart throbs Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
As she mentioned what ‘being offended' actually means to her, the actress wrote “If I had to be offended by a live show I would rather be offended by Arnab who invites people on his show and then doesn't let them speak. I saw an episode where he is asking the education minister a question and then screaming over her answers".
And going on with her criticism, Twinkle said “Now that's just bad manners, at least in the AIB roast they called guests over, let them say their bit, people laughed and went home. But we still have to get outraged even though they had made it clear that the show is for adults only.”
Though undoubtedly the actress' word of mouth has added more value to the arguments already been raised in AIB's defense, the particular write up has garnered enough amount of support and appreciation from Bollywood all around.
While actress Priyanka Chopra who is in Boston these days went gaga over this op-ed piece, she expressed her nod by tweeting “Such imperative questions! Well done !
