New Delhi: After a disappointing start, Himesh Reshamiya's ‘The Xpose' did grow in weekend but Hollywood's big monster flick ‘Godzilla' dominated the Indian box office.

The Ananth Mahadevan directorial has collected Rs 10.97 cr in India. Confirms trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh, “#TheXpose Fri 2.97 cr, Sat 3.43 cr, Sun 4.57 cr. Total: Rs 10.97 cr nett. India biz.”

Though, the flick might struggle in weekdays but it won't be tough to recover its production cost of Rs 15 cr.

Godzilla, on the other hand is doing extremely well here and it is mostly its English version, rather than the dubbed one, which is being loved the most by audience. According to a daily news, the flick has collected just double of ‘The Xpose' and will continue to fetch viewers in the weekdays.

Alia Bhatt-Arjun Kapoor's ‘2 States' is laughing its way at box office even after hitting a ton. The flick by its fifth weekend has made over Rs 106 cr in India and any addition this week will be praiseworthy.

Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar took on twitter to express his happiness over ‘2 States' completing one month at box office saying, “2States completes 1month at the box offices...Crosses the 100 crore magic number...Proud of the team and most of all its debut director!!!”

Now all eyes are on superstar Rajinikanth's ‘Kochadaiiyaan' which will finally see the day's light by hitting the theatres this Friday. With more than 6000 prints in several languages, it is undoubtedly going to shatter all the box office records while Tiger Shroff's debut action flick ‘Heropanti' also looks exciting. But we hope that competition doesn't go one-sided.
