Bangalore: From live performances of progressive metal band The Ocean Collective, reggae master Apache Indian, the very soulful Lucky Ali to a flea market, lip-smacking food and lots of beer -- the 10th edition of Kingfisher Premium - The Great Indian Octoberfest (TGIOF) here promises to enthrall city dwellers in a bigger and better way.
The three days of fun started Friday at E-Zone club here.
Some of the world's most celebrated music artists across diverse genres, including Bollywood sensation Benny Dayal and awe-inspiring The Manganiyar Seduction are lining up to set the tempo of TGIOF 2014.
The event has also tried to raise the bar this year by giving beer and music lovers no reason to choose between the two. As a step towards the same, the crowd this year will also have a chance to witness Oculus Rif, a virtual reality head-mounted display, in action at one of the areas dedicated at the venue, called KFBeerCoaster.
Last year's Headbang arena is also making a comeback, giving people a chance to compete at headbanging to win free beer.
Also, Kingfisher has roped in some designers to create a vibrant limited edition beer can for TGIOF this year. These will be available at the venue and also post the festival as well.
In addition to this, one can satiate one's shopping craving at the flea market at the venue. Ranging from small home accents to quirky fashion accessories, the market has something special for everyone - not to forget an array of mouth watering snacks at the stalls.
So, come, rock and roll, and dance away as The Great Indian Octoberfest beckons.
