New Delhi: Bollywood's latest method actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his lady love Ankita Lokhande are all set to tie the knot finally!
As per the latest buzz the actor popped the question to Ankita on the New Year's Eve and apparently she has said yes.
A website quoted a source close to Sushant saying, "Sushant and Ankita were in Dubai for New Year. It was there that Sushant finally proposed to her."
Sushant and Ankita have been live-in partners for quite some time and Sushant sees the wedding as just a formality. The rituals would be performed twice over as Ankita wants a big fat Indian wedding.
"There will be two events. One wedding will be in Delhi for Sushant's family and the other in Indore for Ankita's family and friends. The couple needs a minimum of two weeks for the wedding. They need this break to get legally wedded”, added the source.
Earlier there were rumours that the couple will get married in June or July this year. However, Sushant denied these reports on microblogging site Twitter. “Dear Somebody, pls tell me first before deciding on ma marriage date??,” he tweeted Tuesday.
The couple celebrated New Year together in Dubai.
Sushant, who is basking in the success of PK will be next seen in Dibakar Banerjee's Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. The actor also stars in Indian cricketer MS Dhoni's biopic, MS Dhoni - The Untold Story, which will be directed by Neeraj Pandey.
The couple met on the sets of TV show Pavitra Rishta in 2009.
