Mumbai, Aug 18: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's crime thriller ‘Not A Love Story' seems to have struck the right chord with the industry people, who have abundantly praised the movie, inspired by the 2008 Neeraj Grover murder case.
“Watched NALS, brilliantly shot, very edgy with superlative performance by Mahie Gill, @rgvzoomin rocks !!!,” filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
“Watched ‘Not a lovestory!' OMG, a film defi to catch for.. Brutal behaviour of mankind in matters of obsessive luv wch can lead to hell,” actress Mugdha Godse said.
Earlier, even filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt had praised Varma's film, saying, “Ramgopal Verma deserves a standing ovation for making an outstanding film..NOT A LOVE STORY raises the bar for Indian Cinema. Ramu uses a brand new technology in this film. This film will certainly be a game changer.”
The movie starring Mahie Gill, Deepak Dobriyal and Ajay Gehi in lead roles will hit theatres tomorrow. PTI
