Steven Speilberg in Mumbai, to meet Ambanis, Big B

Mumbai, Mar 11 :  Oscar-winning filmmaker Steven Speilberg is in India and will be meeting Amitabh Bachchan and other film personalities from Indian film industry at a party hosted by businessman Anil and Tina Ambani

Mumbai, Mar 11 :  Oscar-winning filmmaker Steven Speilberg is in India and will be meeting Amitabh Bachchan and other film personalities from Indian film industry at a party hosted by businessman Anil and Tina Ambani in Mumbai tonight at their residence.




Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who was in Bhopal for Prakash Jha's ‘Satyagraha', flew down to Mumbai to meet the ace filmmaker.

“... Meeting with Steven Spielberg tomorrow and to welcome him to the country and be in conversation with him amongst a relevant audience that connects itself with the the fraternity...,” Bachchan posted on his blog last night.  

The 66-year-old Hollywood veteran, behind genre-defying classics like “Jaws”, “E.T.”, “Jurassic Park”, “Saving Private Ryan”, “The Color Purple”, “Empire of the Sun”, “Schindler's List”, “Munich” and “Lincoln” in his 40 year old career, is accompanied by his wife Kate Capshaw.  

Some of the big names from Bollywood that are attending tonight's party are Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Abhishek Kapoor, Habib Faisal, Ram Gopal Varma, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan.

Spielberg's “Lincoln”, which saw actor Daniel Day-Lewis winning his third Best Actor Oscar last month, was co-produced by Reliance Entertainment along with DreamWorks Studios.
