A movie starring both Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan is on the cards. The actors might even co-produce it with their respective production houses joining hands, says a media report.
Theproject will see Shah Rukh and Hrithik doing business together — Red Chillies, owned by Shah Rukh, and FilmKraft owned by Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan are set to co-produce the movie. The duo is expected to make an official announcement next year.
"The last time Shah Rukh and Hrithik came together on-screen (in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham), they delivered a blockbuster. This time the buzz is that their respective companies will be involved in the project. It will certainly be a big film and a hugely-anticipated one," says a source.
"Shah Rukh and Hrithik have been friends for a very long time and it would be great to see how this friendship develops into a partnership. Their wives, Gauri and Sussanne respectively, brought the duo closer. So now this proposition looks set to sail. We hear the film will be a masala entertainer," the source adds.
When asked about the movie, Hrithik just gave a hint to DNA saying, "Shah Rukh is a delight to work with and I had a great time working with him in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. A movie with him is very much always on the cards. Nothing is stopping us from doing a movie but we have to get the right script. We have to wait for the right film and the right time to join hands."
