New Delhi: Dolly Ki Doli trailer is out and one can specifically rave for Sonam's vibrant characters in the film. Another Arbaaz Khan production, which is not an action-suspense movie this time, but sweet and hilarious is what it seems.
Starring Sonam Kapoor as a con bride Dolly, DKD seems quite colourful with the on screen charm of the actress accompanied by comic allure of actors like Pulkit Samrat, Rajkumar Rao and Varun Sharma (our very own Chucha from Fukrey).
The trailer kick starts depicting how Rajkumar Rao comes to know about the deeds of Dolly, his newly married wife who has looted his entire family and has left them wandering in vacuum.
The trailer slowly progresses to reveal about talented Dolly aka Sonam Kapoor who uses her both wit and beauty to intrigue her target but eventually lands up in a face off with Pulkit Samrat, who is playing a stern Police inspector.
With the presence of great performers in the film and an amalgamation of whole lot confusion and fuss in the story, Dolly Ki Doli appears a thoroughly entertaining offering of Bollywood.
The added specialty of the film comes in Malaika Arora Khan's item number. The sizzling diva can be seen reviving her ‘Munni magic' again through Dolly Ki Doli. What have also caught a bit of my attention are the dialogues of the film.
Too casual and ordinary, the core of the characterization in DKD seems to be lying in their dialogues that are definitely interesting.
For Sonam Kapoor, who is always associated with lavish, stylish and all king size luxuries of life, Dolly Ki Doli would undoubtedly be a deal breaker in Bollywood. Out from her Disney princess avatar, though Sonam looks equally bubbly in DKD, she seems to have got to put more meat in the film.
Totally mischievous but equally daring and cunning, Dolly surely knows to meet the desires of a perfect bride and her completely magnetic personality will attract audience.
Releasing on January 23, Dolly Ki Doli looks like a one vivaciously energetic film designed with Sonam Kapoor's lively enigma and an entertaining plot.
