New Delhi: Ram Madhvani's directorial ‘Neerja' is being regarded as one of the most impeccably made movies of Bollywood. The biopic of airhostess Neerja Bhanot, who laid her life to save those of her passengers when the plane was hijacked by terrorists, has struck the right chords with the viewers.
Sonam Kapoor was seen in her career best performance as she essayed the role of the 22 year old brave heart with brilliance. Apart from Sonam, veteran actress Shabana Azmi who played her mother, there was another character in the movie which impressed viewers- Khalil. Played by Jim Sarbh, Khalil was the one who gunned Sonam down. He has caught everyone's attention, so much so, that even Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has praised him.
Jim Sarbh, is a young Parsi from Mumbai, who has no history of actors or acting in the family. With Bollywood welcoming this new talent house with open arms, we tell you five facts about this actor.
1. Jim's father was in navy and his mother was a physiotherapist. He developed an interest for acting over the years and has been doing plays in English for four years.
2. To get into the skin of Khalil, Jim was given an Arabic coach. Talking about how he prepared for the character he told a leading daily, “He would record my dialogues for me and I would listen to it, and try to get the Arabic nuances right.”

3.Jim was worried when he was offered the role of a terrorist. He thought it wasn't the best role to start his Bollywood career but he was satisfied with the way the filmmakers chose to portray him.
4. After working with Ram Madhvani, Jim inspires to work with directors like Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Neeraj Ghaywan, Habib Faisal, and Nikhil Advani.
5. Jim will star in actress Konkana Sen Sharma's directorial debut which boasts of an ensemble cast including Vikrant Massey, Tillotama Shome, Guslhan Devaiah,Kalki Koechlin, Ranveer Shorey , Om Puri Jee and veteran actress Tanuja. Post this he will be a part of Kalki Koechlin's theatrical debut as a director in ‘The Living Room'.
