New Delhi: Bollywood actors Sonam Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar alongwith Prasoon Joshi and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra were in India TV studios on Friday for promoting ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'.
We asked several questions to Sonam and Farhan.
Our first question went to Farhan who was casually dressed.
Q: From a rockstar in Rock On to a poet in ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and now an athlete in ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', how much do you enjoy doing such diversifying roles in different flicks.
Farhan: It's always good to work with different filmmakers and doing different roles in those flicks. It always encourages you as you take up different challenges and most probably my next flick will also have a different me in it.
Q: What kind of role you are playing in it?
Farhan: My next flick will be Pritish Nandy's sequel to ‘Pyar Ke Side Effects' titled ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects'. It's a comedy movie again and I will be starring opposite Vidya Balan. The flick relates to the situation about how you manage with your wife after a baby is born.
Q: Are you awaiting for someone special's response about your performance in the flick?
Farhan: It's not like that. I feel that every admirer's response is important. Apart from that it's my family from whom I was away for a long time for the flick. I would love if they would like my flick.
Sonam Kapoor was about the role offered to her in the flick. She replied, “When I learnt about the script I told Mehra that I would love to even pass off for a single frame in front of the camera”.
When asked about her experience working with Farhan for the first time, she was all smiles and said: ‘that Farhan is funny and is all himself, be it in onscreen or off screen he is same”.
She also spoke about her next venture with Yash Raj films which is untitled yet.
On a request to hum a few lines from the flick Farhan quoted the starting lines of the title track in a poetic manner. Prasoon Joshi also quoted the lines of the ‘Zinda' song.
Bhaag Milkha Bhhag was released on Friday July 12th.
