New Delhi: ‘Raja Natwarlal' is going to face a stiff from two cop flicks Mardaani and Singham Returns which are having a good grip in its second and third week at box office.
The Independence Day release, Singham Returns, starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan has successfully completed its two weeks at box office collecting Rs 135.40 cr in India according to a leading entertainment website Bollywood Hungama.
The flick in the second week has managed good Rs 22.81 cr nett in India after first week's collection of Rs 112.59 cr.
In weekdays, the Rohit Shetty directorial had a rock-steady business and this week it's expected that the collection is going to deteriorate.
Positive reviews and good word of mouth has helped Rani Mukerji's last week's release ‘Mardaani' to sail well at box office. Moreover, when supported by UP and MP government to make it tax free, the Pradeep Sarkar directorial witnessed good footfalls in theatres making Rs 22.97 cr in a week.
Today's release, Raja Natwarla, starring Emraan Hashmi and Humaima Mailk has opened to a dull response, jump in the business is expected in evening and night shows. Moreover, going by the extended weekend due to Ganeshotsav, the Kunal Deshmukh directorial will do a decent business.
The flick has got mixed reviews but we'll have to wait and see how it goes in the coming days.
