New Delhi: Shilpa Shetty who was for last two seasons was the part of the dance show ‘Nach Baliye' will now work as a judge in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'.
Yes, according to Mid-Day, the actress has been offered just double the amount she was getting for Nach Baliye and so she instantly agreed to it.
"Shilpa has opted out of the show this year after a rival channel approached her to judge their dance show, 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', with the promise to pay her double of what she had been getting for 'Nach Baliye'”, Mid-Day quoted its source as saying.
Shetty was being paid Rs 7 cr in Nach Baliye while in Jhalak, she will claim a whooping amount of Rs 14 cr.
Also the reason cited was that the actress wasn't willing to travel to and from the show's set and wanted to spend time with her little son, so she chose to be part of another show.
The contestants of the show aren't revealed and looks like the makers of Jhalak are still in process of approaching celebrities.
“As far as judges are concerned, there might be a few changes. It all depends on the celebs' date availability”, a leading daily stated further.
