Mumbai : Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was discharged from Mumbai's Hinduja hospital with her new bundle of joy on Friday.
The star gave birth to a baby boy on Monday.
Shetty and her husband, holding their newborn baby, posed for the cameras before driving away.
The actress' husband Raj Kundra announced the news on Twitter: "
God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine. I am thrilled to bits," he wrote.
Shetty, 36, gained global fame in 2007 when she appeared on Britain's "Celebrity Big Brother" television show and faced alleged racism. She went on to win the reality show.
Shetty and Kundra together own a share in the Indian Premier League cricket team Rajasthan Royals.
This is their first child together.
