New Delhi: Shefali Zariwala who gained instant fame with 'Indi-remix' Kaanta Laga has finally tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Parag Tyagi in a secret ceremony in Mumbai.
The couple kept it a low affair as they settled in for a quick court marriage yesterday. The two have been living together for quite a while and on Tuesday decided to formally tie the knot.
Both Shefali & Parag kept it a secret from their parents to surprise them as Shefali's parents are settled far away in South-Africa, while Parag's parents reside in Delhi.
An elated Shefali post-wedding said, "I and Parag had a court marriage yesterday. Parag had asked me to marry him this very day about three years back. Since my family is away in South Africa and his parents are in Delhi, it was practically just the two of us at the wedding. It was so sudden that we didn't even click pictures,” adding, “Our parents will be surprised at the development. We will have a big celebration once my parents return from South Africa."
This would be Parag's first wedding and Shefali's second. Shefali was earlier married to Harmeet Gulzar of 'Meet Bros' fame. Their marriage ended in a bitter public divorce in 2009.
Since 2012, Shefali had been involved with Parag Tyagi and together the two have been in a live-in relationship.
Shefali holds an engineering degree from information & technology but choose to let of her IT career after she started doing music videos.
