Mumbai,Nov 2:Actress Sonali Bendre, who is among Bollywood's yummy mummies, says there should not be any hoopla around the post-pregnancy weight of celebrity mothers.

In recent times, actresses like Aishwarya Rai, Lara Dutta and Shilpa Shetty, have found themselves under the scanner for putting on a few kilos after their respective deliveries. But Sonali, who has a son Ranveer, 7, says it's okay to take your own sweet time to shed it all.

"You have to shed it when you feel like shedding it. It's your body. If I am comfortable with my weight, then who is anybody to say anything about it," Sonali told IANS.

The 37-year-old, who is married to filmmaker Goldie Behl, says her life changed after she became a mother.

"It's lovely to be married to your best friend. I think life changed after we had a child. If we have ever felt that we are married, it is after the child.

"It's a mental thing because suddenly you are responsible for this life and its a huge responsibility. No matter how much you hear it, it is very difficult when you experience it," Sonali said.

The actress was last seen in 2001 film Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. She says she fails to understand the size-zero figure phenomenon in the film industry.

"I don't understand size-zero. I have always been the way I have been. Every body type is beautiful in it's own way. I think the main thing is what kind of a person you are from inside. How beautifully you talk and present yourself... that is what matters. The personality matters," she said.

Talking about her eating habits, the fit and fabulous 37-year-old said: "I am a very healthy eater. I have a great metabolism. I have great genes and I would thank my parents for that."

Sonali will soon be seen in the sequel of the 2010 film Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai. She is in a role opposite Akshay Kumar. The movie also features actors Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
