Mumbai, July 18: Film actor and BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha yesterday underwent open heart surgery for treatment of a serious bronchospasm problem at the Kokilaben Hospital here.
He is well on his way to recovery, doctors said.
A press release said, Mr Sinha was admitted to the hospital for a severe bronchospasm episode. During the investigations a blockage was discovered and as advised by the doctors ,Mr Sinha decided to go ahead with the remedial procedure since he was already in the hospital.
"Mr Sinha is now well and on his way to recovery.He thanks all his friends and wellwishers for their unconditional love and concern."
