New Delhi: Haider is out with its yet another song titled, ‘Khul Kabhi Toh.'
An attempt to design a magical chemistry between Shahid and Shraddha, the song emancipates the chants of love amid the entire ‘crude' mood of the film.
Khul Kabhi Toh seems like a breath of freshness in the beautiful scenery of Kashmir valley. As the couple frolics around and feels the touch of love, the song hits you straight where you were demanding to see a ray of subdued love in Haider.
As soft as the first ray of sun that comes filtered through a curtain to you, Arijit Singh makes Khul Kabhi Toh more-than-lovely and more-than-melodious for you.
Except for that slight glitch that the song looks like the one from some A.R.Rahman's album, Khul Kabhi Toh perfectly transcends the doting bond between Haider and Arshia. Digging it visually, it appears as a juxtaposition of a few brilliantly painted frames, considering the love-making scenes and the scenes showing the couple enjoying the snowfall together.
Apart from the unusual music, that doesn't come as a surprise when you have Vishal Bharadwaj instructing the musicians himself, the song in itself flows well keeping the romance alive throughout.
Shahid, for that rare observation, seems delivering the right intense angle to his romantic side and Shraddha too justifies her submissive character to her lover here.
Khul Kabhi Toh seems to be about ‘loving the love that two lovers share' and while the hero here asks his beloved to open up to him; the heroine too appears obliging herself to her lover. ‘Jhuk ke jab, jhumka me choom raha tha…der tak Gulmohar jhoom raha tha…tu meri kasam, tu mera yakeen…' the lyrics penned down by Gulzaar are such that each word seems to be covering poetry in itself.

Khul Kabhi Toh is a song that won't register in your wit instantly but will get engraved in your heart either visually or with the power of Arijit Singh's soulful voice.
