New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor who is gearing up with his upcoming release 'Haider' has featured on GQ for September 2014 issue. In past, the actor has always said about his love for house parties.
Showing his loves for parties he has created a nightclub in his new house. In an interview to GQ India, Shahid, who currently lives in Versova, revealed that he will soon move to a new pad in Juhu where he's created a soundproof nightclub-type space.
It also has a separate entrance so people can continue to party when he's not around. The actor is sound-proofing his new apartment so he can host and play DJ at his parties.
"It took me four years to find that place," he laughs, when asked about the place, adding, "Brokers had just about stopped calling me back."
Shahid loves being DJ at various parties and he is looking forward to host some of the most amazing parties for his friends.
DJing, he says, is something that snuck up on him after a trip to Ibiza a few years ago, and he certainly didn't hesitate to get behind the decks with DJ Ankytrixx at GQ's Best-Dressed party in June. Now he'll have his own private club to test-run his sets.
In the candid conversation the actor also talked about Haider and it's shooting in Kashmir. “It was a very original experience, being in Kashmir and shooting the film,” he says. “I think this is probably the first time in many, many years, maybe ever, that an entire Hindi film has been shot in Kashmir… Being there for 50 days was a huge part of understanding the film, as well as what I'm representing or showcasing.”
The magazine has also shared a video name 'A Peak in the Valley' where you can see Shahid in different shades.
The video begins with the famous Shakespearean monolgue- 'To be or not to be', and is breathtakingly beautiful. It brings forth Shahid's candid moments depicting the different emotions of human characters and is an ode to the indomitable human spirit.
