New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has finally opened up on the intolerance controversy surrounding Aamir Khan. Unlike the ‘PK' actor, SRK said that he has got everything from the country and has no complaints.
“When I was giving my interview, my thinking was clear. Nobody can complain about religious intolerance, for whatever we have got is because of this country. I have nothing to complain,” Shah Rukh said to a leading news daily.
“I tell my children that don't make judgements about religion and other small issues. These are normal things and everybody does that. But sometimes, people quote out of context. This doesn't mean there is intolerance for me in the country,” he added.

Notably, a few days back, Shah Rukh Khan also faced a lot of flak from the netizens for his comments on ‘growing intolerance' in the country. SRK had said that he will return his award as a symbolic gesture to oppose ‘intolerance' if the situation demands so.
Though, Aamir's comments sparked more controversy and became the target of back lashing from countrymen and politicians.
Speaking at the RGE Journalism Awards function, Aamir had said that he has been “alarmed” by a number of incidences and his wife Kiran Rao even suggested that they should probably leave the country.
While his statement created a wave of rage among the countrymen, Aamir stood by what he said stating he doesn't need to prove his patriotism.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan took a U-turn on his stand and cleared off the controversy saying ‘I have never said India is intolerant.
And now, his reaction on Aamir's ‘intolerance' remarks shows that Shah Rukh doesn't want to stand in the hitting-line.
