New Delhi: ‘Eid' slot which is usually preoccupied by Dabangg Khan-Salman for his movies' release every year is this time taken over by Shah Rukh Khan for his flick ‘Raees'.

Yes, the news from the grapevine has in that Shah Rukh Khan has locked next year's Eid for his action drama ‘Raees' that also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a cop and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who will mark her Bollywood debut with it, according to IANS.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan is already slated to release during Eid this year but surely he wouldn't be pleased with King Khan taking over his usual date next year.

In 2013 too, Shah Rukh released his romantic-action drama ‘Chennai Express' on Eid, however, that wouldn't have been a big deal since Salman had no flicks ready during that year.

But post Bajragi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Salman has many other movies lined up for next year. Ali Abbas Zafar's ‘Sultan' will sooner go on floors this year. Karan Johar's much delayed Shuddhi too is in the process. Among other movies Salman has, No Entry Mein Entry, Dabangg 3, Kick 2 and Bodyguard 2 to be dealt with.

Among these many movies, it is expected at least two will hit the screens next year but with Shah Rukh already booking his favourite slot, we wonder what Salman have to say about that.
