Jammu, Jul 28: Model-turned-Actress Sayali Bhagat, who claims she has walked the ramp 1800 times, says she aspires to have record number of fashion shows to her credit.
“I aspire to become an international model holding the record of maximum number of ramp shows. I have already done 1800 shows till now,” Sayali told PTI.
Nasik-born Sayali said, “I am expecting to reach the target of 2000 such shows to reach to that mark on international modelling. Modelling would be my main focus, apart from films,” says the 27-year-old, who recently walked the ramp at Milan.
Crowned as Femina Miss India World in 2004, Sayali will be seen in lead roles in two movies—‘Ghosts' and ‘This Weekend'.
Ghosts is horror-cum-science fiction in which she is playing the role of doctor next to Shiney Ahuja. Produced by Pooja Bedi, the film is set to release in October. ‘This Weekend' is an action movie, in which she is playing a role similar to that of ‘Charlie Angels'.
“I have under taken training of kick-boxing, martial arts, underwater swimming and horse riding to fit in this role,” she said. Holding a degree of Bachelor of Management studies (BMS), the former Miss India started her Bollywood journey with ‘The Train' and ‘Good Luck' in 2007.
In 2008, she acted in the Hindi film ‘Halla Bol, Telgue film ‘Bledu Babji' and Tamil movie ‘Newtonin Moondram Vidhi' followed by ‘Paying Guests', ‘Jail' and ‘Inkosaari' in 2009 and ‘Impatient Vivek' in 2010. PTI
