Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt and wife Manyata Dutt had a triple celebration at their house on Saturday night. Apart from hosting a dinner for Eid and celebrating Ganpati, Mr and Mrs Dutt also held a birthday bash for Priya Dutt's husband, Owen Roncon, reports Mumbai Mirror
Seems the brother-sister have patched up after reportedly having a fall-out. There were strong rumours about Sanjay contesting elections for the Samajwadi Party; his sister Priya Dutt is from the Congress Party and this caused significant tension between the siblings. They also learnt about his marriage to Manyata through media reports, and were not initially happy about their brother's choice of spouse.
A source close to the family reveals, “Tiffs and arguments are a part and parcel of every relationship. There were minor differences between the family and they were distant from each other. But it seems that this rift is a thing of the past. On Saturday night the entire family was under one roof - at Sanjay Dutt's house.”
The source continues, “There was a grand dinner and close friends and family were a part of the celebration. Manyata and Priya, who were rumoured to have differences, shared warm vibes. The party went on till the wee hours of the morning.”
“Inspite of all differences, sisters Priya and Namrata have always visited Dutt on raksha bandhan. Today there is a baby shower for Manyata and the sisters will be part of the celebrations. Seems all is well between the families,” adds the source.
Sanjay Dutt's publicist confirmed the news.
