Mumbai: The fifth season of dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' (JDJ) which will go on air on June 16 will have an interesting blend of contestants.
JDJ will have 12 celebrities from different walks of life who will team up with choreographers showing various dance forms.
Contestants includes former Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya, child star Darsheel Safari, bollywood actress Isha Sharwani, Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan, ghazal singer Talat Aziz among others.
The show will be judged by Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'souza.
“I am happy to be back in second season. I would look for grace, expressions of the dancers and also how they project themselves.” Madhuri Dixit said.
Karan Johar said,” I think JDJ is the best dance show. I have been following last four seasons and my mother also loves it.
In a performer I would look for concept and presentation. Dancing is in my blood as I am a Punjabi.” While Remo said,” I will look for technicalities in a contestant but that will depend on person to person.
I'll be playing mentor to all choreographers.”
