New Delhi: Sameera Reddy who tied the knot with businessman Akshai Varde in January confirmed that she is expecting her first child.
The actress who was glowing with excitement and happiness while talking to a leading media organization said, "Yes, we are expecting our first baby and we are very happy. Our child is expected in early May. God has been very kind. I am blessed."
She is being very cautious for her and the baby's health. She added “I am being careful...am keeping a low-profile”.
Her husband runs a customized bike company and both met during an ad shoot for his company. Both started dating soon after and got married after two and half years.
Sameera who appeared in films like ‘Musafir' and ‘No Entry' is very excited about her first baby and is already making plans to welcome her first child. Friends of the couple were reported as saying that the couple as well as their family is thrilled to hear the news.
The parents of the actress are also gearing up to welcome their second grandchild. Sameera's sister Meghna who is a model and VJ also has a son. Sameera is said be very close with her nephew.
The Bollywood beauty who is equally active in South Indian Cinema was last seen in ‘Varadhanayaka'. Her last Hindi film was Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Tezz'.
She will be next seen in Anees Bazmee's ‘Naam'. She will appear opposite Ajay Devgn in the film which is expected to release on 2015. The film has already been delayed for 5 years.
