New Delhi: Salman Khan doesn't seem to be too happy with him losing 'Shuddhi', as he was recently seen taking jibes at Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar.

Salman Khan who is known for not mincing his words, took potshots at Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar at recently held Arab Indo Bollywood Awards 2015 in Dubai.

At the award show, Salman Khan first teased Varun Dhawan for taking away his role in 'Shuddhi' and said, "Ye dekho, Shhuddhi leke chale gaye."

And then he left Karan Johar embarrassed by saying, "Ye (Karan) itne bade budget ki film bana rahe hain, iska thoda sa budget kam kar lo par inhone mujhe hi kam kar diya. Budget to kam kiya nahi, mujhe hi kam kar diya film se. How sweet of you Karan."

To which Karan immediately replied, "How wrong of you Salman."

But it seems Varun has chosen to keep mum, as the 'Badlapur' actor is not talking about the film at all.

Varun who is stepping into Salman Khan's shoes for 'Shuddhi', has apparently decided to maintain silence regarding the project.

"I will not say anything about 'Shuddhi'. People have said a lot about it, but as an actor, my job is to act... just talking about is not going to help. So, all that I will do is act and let the audience decide," said Varun.

To be directed by Karan Malhotra, 'Shuddhi' features Varun and Alia Bhatt.

Earlier, producer Karan Johar had confirmed Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan as its cast, and then Salman came on board for it. But just last month, Karan Johar made an announcement saying Varun and Alia have been finalised for it.
