Bollywood star Salman Khan, who just returned from Norway, where his recent release, Dabangg, was screened at an international film festival, has shot a special music video to promote his upcoming TV reality show, Bigg Boss 4, on Colors, says a media report.
For the video, Khan insisted on his pet composers, Sajid-Wajid, who also composed chartbusters for Dabangg.
Lalit Pandit as a guest composer, they conceived the track for the video, titled Chele chapate aur jhol jhapate, yahin fatenge sab bomb patakhe.
Pony Verma, who was a judge on Chak Dhoom Dhoom, and has worked with Khan on several international shows, has choreographed the one-and-a-half minute video, while Milan Luthria has directed it. Khan has been styled by Ashley Rebello.
“It features Salman grooving with girls. We've tried not to give him too many difficult dance moves because his attitude does it all. Even if he moves around in the frame, looking into the camera with a smile, it works,“ says Verma.
Asked if he would have wanted all the contestants from the show to feature in the video, Verma says, “But that would have given out everything from the show. We managed well with the girl dancers. Salman looks chilled out, too. I couldn't have asked for more.”
The video will air for the first time this Sunday, till the season ends later this year. It's expected to be aired on music channels too.
Even the channel seems excited about Sallu replacing last season's host, Amitabh Bachchan. “Since the time we announced Salman Khan as the host, we have witnessed unprecedented excitement in our audience.Creating a music video takes the excitement one flight up,“ says Ashwini Yardi, head of programming, Colors.
