Mumbai, Oct 6 : Bollywood star Salman Khan's brother and actor Sohail Khan on Friday night saved two lives, by rushing them to the MGM Hospital in Navi Mumbai, a few minutes after a speeding mini-truck hit their Tata Sumo.
While returning home on the Mumbai-Pune expressway, Sohail Khan noticed a Tata Sumo with three youths lying critically injured.
He immediately extricated all the three youths and took him in his vehicle to MGM Kamote Hospital in Navi Mumbai, where one of them Balchandra Nagre succumbed to injuries, but the other two survived.
One of the injured Prashant Chaudhary was shifted to Bombay Hospital because of critical injuries, while Ganesh Tanmore is presently in the ICU of MGM Hospital.
Said Sriram Vishe, Ganesh's brother: "Sohail Khan brought the three of them to the hospital. He himself took them out of the crushed vehicle.
We are grateful to Sohail Khan for this timely gesture. If big artistes like Sohail come to the people's rescue, it will be an inspiration for others."
