New Delhi, March 12: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan may leave for the United States probably next week for treatment of trigeminal neuralgia.Salman is presently in Dubai busy with the shooting for his brother Sohail Khan's film Metal. He is expected to return to Mumbai in connection with the hit-and-run case hearing and then leave for the US for further checkup. Salman Khan had undergone surgery in the US in August 2011. It was a five-hour-long surgery in which doctors used a metal wire inside his jaw to reduce the pain that emanated from the brain up to the jaw. This disease normally tends to create suicidal tendencies. Sources close to the superstar said, Salman was due to leave for the US in January this year, but the trip was deferred in view of his busy schedules involving Dabangg2, shooting and other promotionals. Salman had himself disclosed at a press conference on February 23 last year that he was suffering from four ailments: (1) meta bag (2) trigeminal neuralgia (3)aneurysm and (4) AV malformation. Hundreds of crores of rupees worth movie projects are at stake in Bollywood on this superstar, and filmmakers are praying for Salman's early recovery.
