New Delhi: Salman Khan's sister Arpita who recently got married in Royal Falaknuma Palace also received a royal ride Rolls Royce Phantom from her brother Salman as a wedding gift.
Sallu bhai is known to be one of the most generous actors of Bollywood but when it comes to his beloved sister his generosity has no limits. Termed as the most celebrated sister of the country Arpita got a royal wedding a girl can only dream of.
It was earlier reported that Salman had gifted her sister an apartment in a posh locality of Mumbai. But the actor had another surprise planned for the newly-wed couple. Salman gifted one of the costliest cars available, the Rolls Royce Phantom to his sister Arpita.
The Bollywood star spent a whopping sum of Rs 1 crore per day only on wedding venue. Taj's Falaknuma Palace was booked for two days for the wedding. The historical royal palace was the residence of Nizams of Hyderabad.
The wedding ceremony, which took place on November 18 in Hyderabad saw who's who of the country. Many Bollywood celebs including Aamir Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar attended the lavish ceremony.
Shah Rukh Khan who shared a sour relationship with Salman since their fight few years ago also turned up for Arpita's sangeetceremony. The two Khans hugged each other and even posed together with Arpita.
Playback singer Mika Singh and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh entertained the guests throughout the night with their lively performances. Katrina Kaif rocked the stage with her dance number on Chikni Chameli.
The wedding ceremony will conclude with a reception in Mumbai on November 21 i.e. tomorrow.
