In 2003, Vivek even lodged a complaint against Salman for threatening him with 41 telephone calls but he soon apologised for this a number of times in public.
Katrina Kaif was Salman's another love interest. They dated for many years but this relationship came to a full stop in 2011. The duo gave many hits including 'Ek Tha Tiger', which turned out to be the highest grosser of the year. Spectators loved both together and also voted Katrina as the most ideal wife for Salman.
Including the hit-and-run case, there are other litigations as well for which Salman has been in trouble. In 1998, during the filming of ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain' in Jodhpur, he was arrested by the local police for killing black bucks, a protected species, and spent about a week behind the bars of Jodhpur jail.
During the 26/11 attacks, the actor again got himself in controversy when he said that Pakistan was not to be blamed for it, and that the Indian security forces had failed. The comment drew a strong reaction from all over.
But above all Salman has a heart of gold and no one can deny this fact. For his sincerity, helping nature and a charitable trust of his own named ‘Being Human', the actor has the most number of friends in Bollywood.
Sushmita Sen and Sanjay Dutt are amongst his best pals in town. The actor is consistent in his social activities like visiting poor kids in hospital and donating blood.
We wish Salman Khan a happy birthday along with the hope that he gets rid of all the controversies and may he rule millions of hearts forever.
