New Delhi: It's almost a year remaining for Salman Khan's next ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' to release at Diwali but the strategic plans are already been drawn. The makers of this Rajshri Production which also stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead role have decided to open the ticket window over three months prior its release.
Well, that's a massive time period for advance booking seen ever in Bollywood. According to a leading daily, the movie which is on its way will be wrapped by April next year and will take three more month to get it cleared from Censor Board.
Now considering it's Rajshri Production flick which is known for its light-hearted family drama, it shouldn't be a big deal for this movie to get ‘U' certificate. However, three months advance booking is quip a couple of questions in our wits.
It's known that Salman Khan has massive fan following and everything he touches becomes gold. Undoubtedly, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will give audience to witness their beloved ‘Prem' back on screen but somewhere the audience may find it hard to see Salman in this avatar who has cemented himself as a rugged action hero.
However, what Sooraj Barjatya has in store for its viwers remains a mystery but one thing is for sure that it would be minus any ‘maad-dhaad'.
Like Salman Khan himself stated in an interview that it is hard for him to get back into his Prem avatar because there is massive gap now and over the years he has transformed a lot both as an actor and as a human being.
Witnessing him as a gentle, calm and obedient son in Barjatya's next might just not entertain audience who are prone to his action movies and this may the reason why the ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' makers are more relying on the promotional strategies.
The three months advance booking would surely help in the business considering Salman Khan brand name attached to it. The timing of the release too is exceptional and people believe such dates are fixed only for the blockbusters. Well, much couldn't be said about it since the movie is in its pre-production stage and no one knows what the final shape would be. So, lets wait for next year.
