New Delhi: Actor Salman Khan has no scarcity of movie offers. More so ever after his Eid blockbuster ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. But it seems Salman wants to re-enter Karan Johar's project.
The movie in context here is ‘Shuddhi'. This project has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Karan Johar had expressed his desire to rope in Salman Khan for ‘Shuddhi.' When that didn't work out, Karan froze actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, both of whom debuted with his ‘Student of the Year' for the lead roles.
But it looks like Salman Khan is regretting his decision. Salman, who recently paid a visit to reality TV show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa Reloaded, was seen begging Karan to take him back on board for the movie.
All in good humour, of course!
The dance reality show JDJ Reloaded has Karan Johar as a co-judge along with actor Shahid Kapoor. According to insiders, when Salman started asking Karan Johar to take him back, the entire unit burst into laughter.
This wasn't the first time that Salman joked about not being a part of ‘Shuddhi'. At the trailer launch of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan' when the media questioned him about his exit, he said he didn't drop out of the movie but Karan kicked him out!
Salman Khan had earlier promoted his movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger' on the sets of Jhalak. But this time he was promoting ‘Hero' which is being produced under his banner Salman Khan Films. ‘Hero', which marks the debut of Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty, is slated for a 11th September release.
