New Delhi: Bigg Boss 8 Finale Ka Twist turned out as a huge roller-coaster ride for the contestants in the house. The episode that showed the grandeur of Bigg Boss 8 was designed to give a dazzling farewell to the show's host, Salman Khan.
Well dressed in a three-piece suit, Salman Khan made for a grand entry as he danced on the melody of his chartbusters with evicted contestants Praneet, Aarya, Natasa and Minissha. While most of this season's evicted contestants attended yesterday's episode, it was the presence of Diandra and Upen that took the limelight.
Once again, the seven finalists – Karishma, Gautam, Dimpy, Pritam, Ali, Sonali and Puneet were made to liven up their journey and anointed with particular titles. It was only when the star-cast of upcoming Bollywood film, ‘Roy' entered the house that the first eviction took place.
Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez, who went to promote their film inside the Bigg Boss house, brought back Sonali Raut with them. Sonali who rebelled with the Bigg Boss 8 team and opted for a no-makeup look for the day looked happy with her eviction.
The show continued as Salman made the family members of the rest of the contestants inside the house talk to them, through the giant screen.
What also intrigued in the yesterday's episode was the contestants' performance. While Gautam performed on a romantic number with Diandra, Karishma and Dimpy were made to perform with Upen. It was an energetic performance by the P3G gang Puneet-Pritam-Gautam and Praneet on ‘Kill Dil' title track that took the hearts.
Later, Salman himself went inside the house just to take away Puneet with him. Puneet waved goodbye to his Bigg Boss family as the second eviction of the night happened.
Following this twist, Salman congratulated the final five champions in the Bigg Boss 8 now and told them about their stances on the voting meter. As mentioned, the top five champions on the basis of voting are as follows:
1. Gautam
2. Pritam
3. Karishma
4. Dimpy
5. Ali
Finally, Salman introduced the four challengers to be seen inside the Bigg Boss 8 house – Rahul Mahajan, Sambhavana Seth, Mahek Chehel and Sana Khan. The fifth challenger of this unexpected ‘finale twist' is Ajaz Khan who is already inside the house.
While every challenger made sure to spill right beans of his character, what is anticipated now is Rahul-Dimpy's chemistry in the house.
As the episode consummated, Salman Khan introduced Farah Khan as the new host of the show.
However, his bidding adieu to the show came as very heart whelming. Salman, quite disappointingly mentioned that he would not be able to continue hosting Bigg Boss 8 due to his prior shooting commitments of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.'
He further assured the audience of coming back if he finds a break in his shooting schedule.
Well, we can just wish and hope that the audience accepts witty Farah Khan as the new host and ‘Halla Bol' as the new entertainment factor.
