New Delhi: The buzz for Salman Khan's ‘Kick' prior its release already indicated an enormous response and the opening of the flick is at par too. The Sajid Nadiadwala directorial debut is all set to storm the box office and the latest trend indicates an earth-shattering collection on Day 1.
Being released in over 4100 screens in India and 700 in overseas, the flick is witnessing packed theatres and serpentine queues at the ticket counters. And considering the Eid festival which is yet to arrive, Kick is going to storm at box office.
“East. West. North. South... As expected, KICK has fetched a roaring start at the ticket window. The start in the domestic market was fantabulous, despite the fact that the film has opened in the holy month of Ramadan [pre-Eid days]”, said trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.

However, will it break Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 record, is too early to give any verdict on that. Dhoom 3 on Day 1 minted Rs 36.3 cr which is a highest ever opening day and single day figure at box office.
Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' did Rs 32.93 cr business in Eid 2012 and finished its first weekend with Rs 100.16 cr while 'Dhoom 3' again holds the biggest opening weekend record of Rs 107.61.
Dhoom 3's lifetime collection stands at Rs 284.27 cr in India while its Rs 198.78 cr nett for Salman's ‘Ek Tha Tiger'.
It was expected that Jai Ho might set a new benchmark by leaving behind Aamir Khan's action drama but it struggled to beat other superhits namely Chennai Express and Krissh 3 that stood below Dhoom 3 last year.
Much better growth is expected from a Salman Khan flick which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and we know he will strike gold like never before at box office!
