New Delhi: Salman Khan is busy with his sister Arpita's wedding preparation slated to take place in Hyderabad on November 18th, but amidst all this rush he also managed to attend Jodhpur court following hearing for his two cases- poaching of two blackbucks and Arms Act matter.

Donning a maroon t-shirt, beige jacket and jeans, the ‘Dabangg' Khan made a surprise appearance in the court on Friday along with sister Alvira and a team of lawyers without being summoned and he remained there for over an hour.

Salman's counsel Hasti Mal Saraswat in an interview to a leading daily was quoted as saying, "He was not summoned by the court on Friday but since he was in the city for some other work, he made it a point to appear in the court as a gesture of responsibility and respect for the court,"

But contrary to this, according to a leading daily, Salman had no other work in Jodhpur since he landed in the city early in the morning and headed straight to the court after wrapping which he went back to airport to board his chartered plane.

Later, hearing in the poaching case continued while Salman was given an exemption from appearance unless the court desired him to do so. "He is on exemption from appearance in the court in the poaching case," Salman's counsel Saraswat told in an interview to a leading daily.

Salman Khan was convicted and sentenced to one year and five-year prison term in separate cases of poaching of two Chinkaras at Bhawad and one black buck at Ghoda Farm (Mathania) on the ill-fated night of September 26-27, 1998 and September 28-29, 1998 respectively.

Apart from Salman Khan, his other co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam who were also shooting for the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in Jodhpur were accused of poaching.

The ‘Kick' star besides his sister wedding preparation is busy shooting for Kabir Khan's ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan' opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan.
