Mumbai: In the hearing today in Salman Khan's trial in hit and run case, the court rejected the plea of Salman's lawyer that all people be sent out except witness. An RTO officer has to testify today that Salman had no license in 2002 when the accident happened.
The police have already submitted the report of statement recorded by RTO inspector that says the license was only issued to Salman in 2004.

Another witness, a chemical analysis expert Bala Shankar, will be cross-examined before the session court of DW Deshpande. He had earlier testified that the alcohol level in Salman's blood was well above the permissible limit.
A constable who collected the blood sample to the forensic library and another policeman who took Salman to the JJ Hospital are also expected to testify in today's hearing.
In the incident dated September 28, 2002, a car rammed into a bakery killing one person and injuring four others. The cops allege that the car was being driven by Salman Khan. He is being tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. He could spend a maximum time of 10 years in prison if convicted.
